Congratulations Scholarship Recipients!

The Topeka Chapter of The Links Inc. was organized in November 1958 with a commitment to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the identities, culture, and economic survival of African-Americans and persons of African descent. As such, our chapter is dedicated to assisting young African American students in their pursuit of higher education. We are pleased to announce the following 2020 graduating seniors have been awarded a scholarship from our chapter:

Adrianna Buxton

A 2020 graduate of Topeka West High School, Adrianna was awarded a $1300 scholarship from our chapter. She plans to pursue a pre-med degree in Biology at Langston University.

Faith Childs

Faith was awarded a scholarship of $2000 to attend the University of Kansas this fall where she will study Physical Therapy. She is a 2020 graduate of Shawnee Heights High School.

McKinley Howard

McKinley is a recent graduate of Highland Park High school. He was awarded a $1300 scholarship from The Topeka (KS) Chapter of The Links Inc. He is headed to Pittsburg State University in the fall and is undecided in his major.

This 2020 graduate from Highland Park HIgh School was awarded a $1300 scholarship from The Topeka (KS) Chapter of The Links Inc. She plans to studay anestehsiology at Wichita State University.
